The Red Sox reassigned RHPs Thad Ward, Josh Winckowski, Matt Carasiti, Durbin Feltman, Frank German, Zac Grotz, Kaleb Ort, Seth Blair, Reynel Espinal, Andrew Politi, C Roldani Baldwin and C Austin Rei to minor league camp.
The White Sox reassigned RHP Emilio Vargas, RHP Danny Dopico, RHP Kade McClure, LHP Jacob Lindgren, LHP Bennett Sousa, LHP Matt Tomshaw, and C Carlos Perez to minor league camp.

RHP Jake Odorizzi has cleared his COVID intake screening and will be at Astros camp today.
The Yankees announced LHP Zack Britton will undergo orthoscopic surgery to remove a bone chip from his left elbow.
Padres mananger Jayce Tingler told reporters that SS Fernando Tatis Jr. could return as early as Thursday. He’s been dealing with flu-like symptoms.
Free agent OF Yasiel Puig still wants to play baseball and is “just looking for an opportunity to play,” his agent Rachel Luba told the Athletic.
OF Luis Alexander Basabe was removed from yesterday’s Giants game after injuring his left wrist.
Notes from Dodgers manager Dave Roberts: OF Cody Bellinger will take live ABs tomorrow and should make his Cactus League debut sometime around the 15th; C Keibert Ruiz should make his spring debut by the end of the week; the team will make a significant number of big league cuts next Monday.
Notes from Cardinals manager Mike Shildt: RHP Miles Mikolas is not progressing out of the soreness in his right shoulder. Shildt says it will “clearly” impact his beginning of the season; RHP Alex Reyes will be a reliever this season and the club plans on him being a starter in 2022.
Astros RHP Pedro Baez tested positive for COVID, GM James Click told reporters.
Rangers RHP Jonathan Hernandez will miss the start of the season with a ligament sprain in his right elbow.
