Daily Baseball Update - 4/2/2021
In baseball the last 24 hours: Opening Day gives us four extra-inning games, Nationals are dealing with a COVID situation, & more.
Good morning.
It’s April 2nd, 2021 and here’s everything that happened in the world of baseball over the last 24 hours.
The Most Important Thing
Baseball is pretty fun, huh? There’s a ton of things to choose from, but Miguel Cabrera’s Opening Day home run in the snow (that included a slide into second base) was the best thing I saw all day.
Unsurprisingly, COVID reared its ugly head yesterday as well. Mets/Nationals, with one of the best scheduled pitching matchups of the day, was postponed due to COVID positives among the Nationals roster.
