SS Francisco Lindor’s contract extension with the Mets is now official. 10 years, $341 million.
Reds OF Nick Castellanos has been suspended two games for his role in the weekend’s bench-clearing altercation with the Cardinals. Castellanos (rightly so) is appealing the decision. Zachary Silver notes Nolan Arenado, Jordan Hicks, Yadier Molina, Eugenio Suárez and Jesse Winker were handed undisclosed fines.
The Cubs traded RHP James Norwood to the Padres for RHP Dauris Valdez.
The Marlins have re-signed LHP Brandon Leibrandt to a minor league contract, per Craig Mish. He’ll go to the team’s alternate site.
More Marlins moves: placed RHP Elieser Hernandez and OF Garrett Cooper on the 10-day IL; recalled RHP Nick Neidert and RHP Jordan Holloway from the team’s alternate site.
The Giants claimed switch-hitting OF Skye Bolt off waivers from the Oakland Athletics. To make room for Bolt, RHP Ashton Goudeau has been designated for assignment.
LHP Mike Montgomery has signed a minor league deal with the Yankees, per Robert Murray. Montgomery has a career 3.84 ERA over 6 seasons.
Rockies RHP Jairo Díaz has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to the alternate training site.
OF Yasmany Tomás has re-signed with the Nationals on a minor league deal. He had been released in late March.
Orioles moves: RHP Cole Sulser has been optioned to the team’s alternate site; OF Austin Hays (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day IL; OF Ryan McKenna recalled from the team’s alternate site; reinstated RHP Shawn Armstrong from the IL.
The Angels traded RHP Kyle Keller to the Pirates for cash considerations. To Make room for Keller, the Pirates designated RHP Edgar Santana for assignment.

Padres SS Fernando Tatis Jr. left last night’s game with a partial dislocation of the left shoulder. The Padres announced he will be re-evaluated today.
