• Diamondbacks 3B Asdrubal Cabrera will get an MRI on his leg today, per Zach Buchanan. He had an early exit in last night’s game against the Marlins.

• Diamondbacks OF prospect Corbin Carroll is having shoulder surgery that will end his season, per William Boor.

• Pirates RHP prospect Cody Bolton had knee surgery and will be out 4-6 months.

• Reds OF Nick Senzel left Thursday's game against the Rockies with a left heel contusion. 

• Mariners RHP Ljay Newsome could possibly need Tommy John surgery, relays Corey Brock.
