OF Jake Marisnick will sign with the Cubs, per Jon Morosi. Marisnick has an 81 OPS+ over his eight year career.
OF Brett Gardner is definitely still planning on playing this year, says Jon Morosi.
RHP David Phelps has agreed to a one year, $1.75 million deal with the Blue Jays, per Mark Feinsand. Phelps has an additional $750,000 in potential incentives.

Former Royals infielder Christian Colon will sign with the independent Kansas City Monarachs, the team announced.
The White Sox signed 2B Marco Hernandez to a minor league deal.
From Bob Nightengale regarding the Blue Jays: “The Blue Jays equipment truck is heading to Dunedin, Fla., but it may be summer until they bring equipment back to Toronto. Players have been advised not to sign long-term leases as they await word whether they can open the season in Canada. If not, Dunedin is the likely location.”
