Red Sox RHP Marcus Walden cleared waivers and will be outrighted to AAA Worcestor. Walden has a career 4.50 ERA over 106 innings in Boston.
Diamondbacks RHP Keury Mella has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to AAA Reno.

Note from Dodgers manager Dave Roberts: OF Chris Taylor woke up with a stiff neck and will be down for a couple days.
OF Brandon Nimmo will “probably” be the Mets’ leadoff hitter, manager Luis Rojas said.
Cincinnati OF Jesse Winker was scratched from the lineup today with a sore right hip, says Mark Sheldon.
Rays INF Joey Wendle left today’s game after taking a pitch to the helmet.
Dodgers 1B Matt Davidson considers himself a two-way player and says teams “seem more open to that these days.” He told reporters that he hit 92 MPH on the radar gun while with the White Sox.
Boston Chief Baseball Officer Chaim Bloom tells reporters that SS Xander Bogaerts had an MRI on his sore shoulder and “nothing concerning” was found.
Diamondbacks OF Drew Weeks needs shoulder surgery will miss the entire 2021 season, relays Zach Buchanan.
Notes from Nationals manager Dave Martinez: LHP Seth Romero will be stretched out as a starter this spring. Romero had a rough debut last season, with a 13.5 ERA in 3 appearances; Juan Soto did not play today due to fouling a ball off his right foot yesterday. The team is just being cautious.
Rays OF Kevin Kiermaier took BP on the field today and should progress to live BP tomorrow, per Adam Berry. He has been dealing with a hip issue.
